Workshops / Programs

Ply-Split Braiding is found in the Thar Desert region of NW India / Pakistan.  It is a technique used by the Camel Herdsmen for bridles and tack for their camels.  Peter Collingwood studied and documented this technique and brought it to the Textile Art World.  I was introduced to this technique and enjoy using my hand-dyed threads for twisiting my cords to make jewelry.  I also am discovering using this techique for 3-D opjects.

I am available for programs for groups to explain and demonstrate this technique as well as workshops for both jewelry and 3-D objects.
